I loved spending time with the baboons, getting exposed to a variety of wildlife projects, and visiting other centres and reserves. It’s also incredible that I could do all that and get to know the local community.
It was incredible to spend so many days essentially living with the baboons and slowly getting to know the individuals and their unique personalities over time. I also loved that when I did have an office day, I was able to spend a good amount of that time doing what I enjoy and helping with math (and a bit of coding!).
